Brenda Worrell is the Chief Executive Officer/President of Idaho Central Credit Union, one of the fastest growing credit unions in the country with over 565,000 members and $10 billion in assets. She has over 25 years’ experience in the credit union industry. Her oversight of workplace culture measurements and improvement efforts has resulted in ICCU being named a Best Place to Work in Idaho every year for the last 11 years. She led the charge in serving underserved communities and small businesses, by focusing the Credit Union’s efforts on expanding products and services to meet their needs and earning Idaho Central the Juntos Avanzamos designation. Throughout her career, she has focused on improving processes and systems as well as utilizing technology to improve service, increase efficiencies, grow market share and improve member engagement. Her oversight of strategic initiatives led to the creation of many new business lines including Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Planning and Insurance Services. She is passionate about helping members achieve financial success and providing them options to reach their goals. Brenda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Idaho State University and is also a Certified Public Accountant. She is an Excellence in Finance award winner and CUES Certified Credit Union Executive. In addition to serving as Vice–Chairman of the Curql Board, she also serves on the Members Development Company (MDC) Board, GoWest Credit Union Governmental Affairs Committee and Idaho Business for Education Board. She is also a co–founder of Southeast Idaho Hoops Academy, a non–profit organization focused on providing youth the opportunity to learn basketball skills and improve their physical fitness.
